The last 2 things to do:

1. Take a small wire and solder a connection from the transistor emitter (the lead still floating in space.) to the black battery lead.  As I mentioned, it may be a better idea to attach the small wire to the black battery lead in step one.
2. Add the 10 uF capacitor (the black one) as indicated in the kit instructions.
