Simple(r) UV Strobe

Time for the drive transistor and the LED connections.  Since we will be driving multiple LED's from this circuit, the blue/white wire will run to all the LED's externally.  These wires are attached to the LED1 holes (marked D1).

The transistor provides the juice (current) to drive the UV LED's. 2 of its leads (the base and collector) fit right into the  LED2 (D2) holes.  The 3rd lead (Emitter), designated by the tab on the side of the transistor case, hangs off the side.  We will solder a wire onto that lead later.  A real pro would drill a nice hole in the board so the lead can be run down to the bottom.  I was trying to keep this process very simple, so I didn't.

Also sown is the resistor R3 (220 ohm).   This resistor sends juice from the timer chip to the transistor.
