After soldering the 1uF capacitor into the battery holes, I needed to attach the
battery clips. Here you can see how I soldered the 9 volt battery clips to
the cap leads that were sticking out the bottom of the circuit board.
Tip: You should also solder a short 2" to 3" piece of wire to the black
battery lead. the last step requires that you connect the transistor to
this black wire. I didn't do it at this step, but it will be easier if you
do it now.
Also shown is the 555 timer socket soldered in.
