Typically I carve the edges of the stones with a sanding drum bit for the Dremel.  It creates a huge mess of fine pink dust.  This time I decided to cut the stone edges with an Exacto knife. (Can you tell I got a new Exacto knife set for my Birthday).  This process is much easier, and much cleaner.  The only downside is the occasional cut from being careless with the knife.  These puppies are sharp, so be careful.
